HDR

High Dynamic Range Imaging (HDRI or just HDR) is a set of techniques that allows a greater dynamic range of luminances between light and dark areas of a scene than normal digital imaging techniques. The intention of HDRI is to accurately represent the wide range of intensity levels found in real scenes ranging from direct sunlight to shadows.

sparknotes: HDR is totally sick.

i downloaded a free trial version of an HDR program, unfortunately because its a trial version there is a waterprint on the photos. Here are the images i came out with, i'm pretty pleased about them and might buy the program. (first one is my favorite.)

Some insight into my life.

While surfing the internets this morning I stumbled upon a great article. Not only is it great, but it relates to me on SO many levels, it basically explains my relationship to 5-10 girls that I know. They shall remain anonymous at this time.

Drop whatever you're doing right now, including reading my blog, and read this: CLICK HERE! right there, or here, basically any of this.

ps. yes I know there is an "s" at the end of the word "internet."

BR 30x32

The story i'm about to share may or may not be very funny. Well, at least I think it's funny and that is all that matters, cuz it's my blog. The following took place on friday, a conversation between myself and my roommate Jarom.

*Jarom walks into the front room preparing to iron*

"Are you wearing my pants" -me.

"No, I just got these the other day" -Jarom.

*10 seconds pass by*

"Where did you get them?" -me.

"Banana Republic" -Jarom.

"Haha thats where mine are from, and they're the same color, are yours straight leg?" -me.

"yeah, straight leg." -Jarom.

"We have the same pants." -me.

"What size are yours?" -Jarom

"30x32." -me. *as i think to myself how weird it would be if we had the same size too*

"No way! mine too. We're definitely going to have to coordinate before we go out in public...so we're not wearing the same thing." -Jarom.

THE END.

I thought it was blog worthy, if you don't like it, ummm well I don't know, too bad? yeah. Too bad.

allottastuff.

here is a lot of stuff, brace yourself.

#1 Eclairs, good right? I think so and thats all that matters. Last week I attended a wedding reception. I would consider eclairs to be a staple at receptions, well they used to be. Now it's all about the chocolate fountain, they are ok at best. I guess you know where i'm going with this. No stinking eclairs! Should I get married someday, I will not attend my own wedding reception unless there are eclairs present. (*record of 13 big-ish eclairs at one reception.)

#2 i got new soccer boots :) (boots are cleates)

#3 School is out for summer! i got an A- in Ethics and Values, A in Bio lab, and B+ in Math 1050 college algebra. I feel pretty good about it.

#4 Skiing. It's basically over. I might make a couple trips to Alta to build a jump or two with some friends, but other than that it's over. No more 3-4 times a week type thing. Here are a few of my favorite pictures (of me):

#5 Dave and natalie are getting married May 19th! woot. anywho, here is their picture. i took it. just fyi the day they planned on taking pictures was an April 15th snowstorm, it had been in the 60's a couple days earlier. so no fun pctures in the grass, trees, flowers..ect.

#5 and just for fun some action photog by me:

summary of my spring break

Spring break was this past week, here is a summary. No, there is too much, i will sum up. (princess bride reference) here it is:
I went down to Escalante, Utah, and met up with some friends that go to SUU. I got there Wed evening and we set up camp and made a fire. Thurs we hiked to a slot canyon called zebra, then later that day drove to another hike that went to two waterfalls, about 8-9 miles of hiking that day. Fri we did a hike down by lake powell it was about 12 miles round trip. someone didn't think to bring a cooler with ice for our food so most of it went bad, thus we drove into town and ate at Subway thurs and fri nights! we were really roughing it.

ok, i dont feel like writing anymore. but here are the pictures.
